Edward Baroody Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Ameen Baroody Sr. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and colleague, who passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2024 at the age of 90 after a beautiful life. Ed was born in Smithfield North Carolina and was a longtime resident of Fairfax and Arlington VA. He had a successful career in finance and enjoyed many evenings holding court at his favorite restaurant the Prime Rib. He is survived by his amazing wife Gloria of 63 years and children Edward Baroody Jr, Patricia Benner (Kurt), and Philip Baroody as well as grandchildren, Bobby Baroody, Kristen, William and Michael Benner. His sense of humor and playful nature will be greatly missed by all. No Services at this time.

I will forever cherish my memories of this wonderful man. What a warm, wonderful soul this man was. My childhood was centered around he and his fabulous family. I will always remember my daily envelopes he would bring me. Every! Day! Wishing love and peace for the entire Baroody Family. He will be greatly missed! Hugs to All!
