Edward Henry Obituary

At 10:15 p.m. on July 21, 2025, at his son and daughter-in-law's home in Virginia Beach, Edward Taft Henry peacefully passed away. He leaves to mourn his three childern, Wayne Edward Henry (Joyce), Mary Moore Hill (Dwayne) and William Tony Henry and one brother Tracey Hewitt. His beloved wife of 63 years, Joan M. Henry preceded him in death on February 24, 2025. Being a grandfather and great-grandfather was one of his truest loves in life. Taft was a retired Arlington County employee of 42 years. Services will be held on Saturday August 16, 2025 at Oakland Baptist Church 3408 King Street, Alexandria VA 22302. Services begin with a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by his funeral at 11 a.m. Services will also be live streamed.
