EDWARD A. WITKOWSKI  (Age 64)  
Passed on September 2, 2012 in his home in New Carrollton, MD surrounded by his loved ones after a prolonged illness. Mr. Witkowski was born February 19, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY to Edward and Jane Witkowski. After several years in the Air Force, he and his wife, Bernice moved to Maryland in 1971. Edward loved golf and sports having coached football for St. Bernard's in Riverdale, MD. He was an active member for labor unions being President of the Washington, DC Metal Trades Council as well as Vice-President of IBEW Local # 121. He is survived by his wife, Bernice of 41 years; as well as his daughter, Jennifer Herb (Roy). Friends will be received at the RENDON/HALE FUNERAL HOME, 9013 Annapolis Rd., Lanham, MD on Tuesday, September 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at St. Mary's Parish, Landover Hills, MD at 11 a.m. He will be interred in his hometown of Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy., Annapolis, MD 21401.
