EILEEN D. KELLY (Age 85)
A beloved wife and mother who lived at Indian River Colony Club, Viera, FL, went up to the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2007. She was born in Johnsonburg, PA on October 2, 1921 to Russell and Catherine Gorman and later moved to Philadelphia, PA, where she married Walter E. Kelly. Eileen will be remembered for the huge amount of love she had for her family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Air Force Colonel Walter E. Kelly (Ret.); a daughter, Karen E. MacDonald and her spouse, Gerry of Ossippe, NH; her beloved grandchildren, Robert Slawsby and Danielle Slawsby; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Alexander Slawsby. She also leaves her sister, Marion Begley and a host of very special friends and relatives.
On June 24, 2007, a viewing will be held at EVERLY-WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated in the Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer, Arlington, VA at 8:45 a.m. on June 25, 2007, prior to interment in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brevard Hospice, 110 Longwood Ave., Rockledge, FL 32955.
