Elaine Perlman Obituary

Elaine DeBois Perlman, of West Palm Beach, FL, and formerly of Chevy Chase, MD, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, just two days after celebrating her remarkable 102nd birthday. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

Born in Annapolis and raised in Baltimore, Elaine built a beautiful life with her late husband, George H. Perlman, with whom she shared nearly 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they were true partners—traveling the world, dancing through the decades, and embracing every adventure side by side. They eventually settled in Bethesda, where Elaine devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family.

Elaine is survived by her daughters, Amy (Mark) Bubes and Abby (Roy) Blunt; her grandchildren, Erica (Michael) Ruder, Samantha (Alan) Weiss, Stacy Bubes and Charlie Blunt. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Olivia, Sophie, Marley, and Eloise. Elaine was engaged in all of their lives and took immense pride in their many achievements. Her unwavering love and wisdom will be deeply missed.

A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Shiva will be observed that evening at the home of Abby and Roy Blunt from 5 to 8 p.m. Due to the weather, we understand many friends will not be able to join us that evening.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to Traditions at Morse Life. (https://morselifefoundation.org/donate/)
