ELLA REE EVANS
Ella Ree Evans of Washington, DC at the age of 92 transitioned peacefully Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Fort Washington Health Center in Ft. Washington, Maryland. She is survived by grandchildren: Lauren Patrice Merritt and Robert T. McPhatter (Erika); great grandchildren: Alexis Payton Merritt, Jasmine Rena McPhatter, Daniel Kristian Edgerton, Sarah Elizabeth Bennett, Myrtina James (Jerome), Westly Ford, Kenneth Ford; great-great grandchild Jakari Justice Rhames, cousins, relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Marshall-March Funeral Home, 4217 9th Street NW, Washington, DC 20011; Viewing 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment at National Harmony Memorial Park, 7101 Sheriff Road, Hyattsville, Maryland 20785.
