ELVIS JACQUELINE MEYER (Age 80)  "Jackie"  
Peacefully departed this life on Friday, March 4, 2011. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of sixty years, Mike Meyer; her children George Meyer and Mimi Hellmuth (Steve); her beloved grandchildren, Heather Kahn, Lauren Meyer, Brittany Hathorne (Michael) and Brett Meyer; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Grayson Kahn. Jackie was a life-long Washingtonian who loved to garden and entertain. She was a contributing member of Reformation Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She had an infectious laugh that will not soon be forgotten. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314. Services will be held Friday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 E Capitol St NE, Washington, DC, 20003. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's name to Evercare Hospice, 12018 Sunrise Valley Dr, Suite 400, Reston, VA 20191.

Dear Mike and family,

We were sorry to read of Jackie's passing. She was such a happy person to be around and a wonderful participant in our Sunday school classes. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time.
