ERIC VAN CORTLANDT STEVENSON
Of Bethesda, MD on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Beloved husband of Judith Herrick Stevenson; loving father of Jonathan Stevenson, Michael Kirkham Stevenson, Anne Stevenson-Yang, Margot Stevenson and Philip Stevenson; grandfather of Andrea, Eric, Charlotte and Colin Stevenson, Samuel and Lucy Stevenson-Yang and Lena Curland; and brother of James Stevenson. Interment private. He invariably put others first, and we will love and remember him always. Memorial contributions in Eric's name may be made to Woodley House, 1408 North Capitol Street, NW, Washington, DC 20002, Cornerstone, 4800 Arkansas Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20011; The Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, 1200 U Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009; or a charity of the donor's choice. Dear Judy -- I was so sorry to see Eric's obituary in today's Post and send you my deepest sympathy. I have so many fond memories of you and Eric and Paul and me celebrating various occasions together. Those were good days.
