Estelle was like a second mother to me. Her class, style, grace, remarkable heart, sense of humor and sheer beauty just touch on a few of the qualities that made her so special. She touched so many lives and helped so many people. It was a joy and honor to know her. Her passing is one that will be felt by many. I will never forget Estelle, and will always cherish having her as a friend and mentor. My condolences to the family.

My most sincere sympathy to the Lefkowitz and Miller families in this time of sorrow. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you travel through this dark valley. I still think of her every time I hear a Rod Stewart ballad, and always will.

My heartfelt condolences to Elise and Marc, and to their family. I will always cherish my memories of Mrs. Gelman (and Mr. Gelman) as a most kind and gracious individual, with a heart of gold. I will never forget, as a college student during the High Holidays, if I was not celebrating with my family in Norfolk, being welcomed at her table as one of her own. It meant a lot to me. It was a privilege to know her.
