Passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, October 20, 2025, ESTHER VIENER SILBER of Houston, TX, formerly of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Silber. Devoted mother of David (Samantha) Silber, Ronnie (Toni) Silber, Evie (Jonathan) Michel, and Lewis (the late Lisa) Silber. Loving sister of Harry and Marcela Viener. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Dane (Julie), Hannah (Eric), Eddie, Jared (Madison), Sam, Madison, Jackson, Ava, Samantha, and Alexandra. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, 10 a.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Shiva will be observed at the home of Lewis Silber following the service and on Saturday evening. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The National Kidney Foundation, http://www.kidney.org. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.
