ETTA PEARSON Obituary
ETTA C. PEARSON (Age 108)
Mrs. Pearson departed this life on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the home of her granddaughter. She was the wife of the late Cordell Pearson; beloved mother of Louise Hinnant, Ervan Pearson and Gladys Hines. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Pearson will lie in state at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 901 Third St., N.W. on Saturday, August 31 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Services by STEWART.

MiMi will be missed by many. The times I shared with her were special, listening to some of her experiences and telling her some of mine. To all of my family I'd like to say that we have a lot of memories to comfort us, MiMi loved the Lord and she will be our angel in heaven and always with us. Rest in Paradise MiMi, we love you.

We called Etta, "Mimi" and I am so blessed to have had her as my great grandmother. As a child, I thought there was nothing she couldn't do and it was always done with love. I owe so much of who I am and what I know from her. I will miss her laugh, her yelling for me to do something, her smile, her sassiness and most of all, her love. You may be gone, Mimi, but you will never be forgotten by me. Never.
