Passed away on May 3, 2006. He was 79 years old, born in Alexandria and leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 50 years, Ethyle Cole Giuseppe. He has two brothers, John and George of Alexandria and two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary of Middleburg. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He served in the Navy during WWII, received his Bachelors degree from University of Maryland and his Masters and Ph.d. from University of Virginia. He was a teacher and coach at Elkton High School for eight years and principal of Greene County Primary School for 27 years. The funeral was held st S. River Methodist Church, interment was at Holly Memorial Gardens, Charlottesville. The Rev. Valerie Ritter conducted the service. Pallbearers were James Reel, Alton Keel, David Teel, Bob Tata, Robert Giammittorio and Tom Clifford. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the South River Church, 3416 South River Rd., Standardsville, VA 22973.
