Frances Larson Obituary

LARSON FRANCES M. LARSON "Robin" Peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Beloved wife of 39 years to Lou Larson, Sr.; devoted mother to Louis, Jr., Chris, Jeffrey, Annie and Mary. Also survived by her father, mother, four brothers, five sisters, two grandsons, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends. Robin was predeceased by one brother, Jeffrey Barrett. Friends are invited to visit with the family at St. Thomas a Becket Catholic Church, 1421 Wiehle Ave., Reston, VA 20190, visitation Thursday, June 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chestnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to causes very dear to Robin''s heart, Birthright of Loudoun County, 823 S. King St., Suite 1, Leesburg, VA 20175, 703-777-7272 and Ursuline Sisters Retirement Fund, 353 S. Sappington Rd., St. Louis, MO 63122, 314-821-6884.

My daughter has known Mrs. Larson for all her years at Weyanoke Elementary. She was one of her favorite teachers. Allison and our entire family are saddened by your loss.

Frank and I are deeply sorry for your tremendous loss. I always admired Robin for her kindness. She was the nicest mom on the block by far. Many many fond memories.
