Frances M. (Tymann) Sampogna of the Oakview community in Silver Spring passed away peacefully on September 28, 2022. Daughter of the late John P. and Frances M. Tymann, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, sons Stephen and John (Julie survives), sister, Mary and brother, Thomas. Cherished mother of Mark (Joyce), Peter (Marguerite), Julia (Matthew) Reiner, and Annie (Michael) Reid. Beloved grandmother of Daniel (Lola) Reiner, Katherine and Mark Reiner, Jennifer (Elliott) Blackwood, Valerie (Chris) Vinson, Lucas and Olivia Sampogna, Maxwell and Jackson Reid, Jesse (Marina) Sampogna, Sarah (Jack) Rainey, Meagan (Brian) Williams, Matthew (Patricia) Sampogna, and Robin (Matthew) Horvatin. Great-grandmother of 17. Viewing on Sunday, October 2, 2022, 2 to 4 p.m., Collins Funeral Home, (Valet Parking) 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD.
