FRANCIS J. LAMARRA "Jack" (Age 94)
On Saturday, March 21, 2015 of Alexandria, VA.Jack served in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater and retired from the CIA in 1980. He is the beloved husband of the late Irma G. Lamarra; father of Frances J. Carnevale (Mark) and Michael Lamarra (Lisa); brother of Rose Powell, Lucretia Brooks and Marie Schooner; grandfather of Matthew Carnevale, Veronica, Vonya, Valeria, Vayla and Viahna Lamarra. Relatives and friends may call at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr. Alexandria, VA on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Ln. Alexandria, VA on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Comfort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Caring, Resource Development Department, 2900 Telestar Ct. Dear Lamarra Family, though we've never met Mr. Jack Lamarra, we can sense the man that he was through the family of Mike and Lisa. Both Mike and Lisa are doing a tremendous job of raising their beautiful and benevolent daughters. This, we're certain, is a true witness of what great parents Mr. Jack and Mrs. Irma Lamarra were, and they're leaving a wonderful legacy of a faithful, loving and devoted family, ever ready to help and serve others wherever and whenever there is a need.
