Major General Frank Clay served his country at the Military Academy at West Point from 1938 to 1942 . . . then continued to Active Duty from 1942 to 1973: the vital middle third of his life. He was wounded twice - spilling his blood to keep America safe for those who were at home. For the final 33 years of his life he was a distinguished example of a retired Flag Officer. I will miss him.
