My condolences to Frank's family and many friends. I was fortunate enough to have worked at Hill and Knowlton in the early 90's and to have been a part of many client projects that Frank led during my five years at the firm. I'll never forget his generosity with this newbie some 20 years ago, including instruction on how to tie a proper bowtie, when I was transitioning into the agency world. His wisdom, wit and story telling were legendary as was his ability to connect across generations. Frank, you made a difference in my life and so many others. Thank you.

From two returned Peru IV Peace Corps volunteers who served 1962-64 with Frank Mankiewicz.
He was our Rep. and Director. Frank certainly impacted our lives as we all likely did his, which for us, is part of who we are now. We are moved and saddened by his passing, and also grateful for knowing him. My husband and I thought for sure we would be asked to leave Peru when we told him that I was "embarazada" (with child), but instead he said perhaps we would be more accepting within our Peruvian community, and was fine with us staying. With his support and confidence, we completed our tour and returned home with a beautiful baby girl. With this life experience and Frank being a part of it, we were both enriched and inspired to continue with the same Espiritu del Cuerpo de Paz.
Con mucho carino y gracias Frank,
Dona and Douglas Schlesier

On behalf of the Douglas and Dorothy Henderson family, I offer our condolences on Frank's passing. My father relished working with Frank in Peru in joint pursuit of the Kennedy dream of better relations with Latin American neighbors. Frank, you will be missed by us all.
To Josh, having lost my father not long ago, my heart goes out to you.

My heart goes out to the family - please accept my condolences. I worked with Frank briefly at Hill and Knowlton Strategies and was intrigued by the fascinating stories of his life. He was a wonderful man who enjoyed life to the fullest and adored his family very much. I am so happy and consider it an honor that I had the privilege of knowing Frank and believe that his spirit will continue to dwell among us in the legacy he left behind.

We pray for Frank and his family. He was an inspiration to us all. The RFK campaign is where we first met him. NPR is better off today thanks to Frank!
