Franzine Henderson Obituary
Franzine Moore Henderson passed away peacefully at her home in McLean, Virginia, on September 20, 2025. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, she was raised in Washington, DC, where she graduated from McKinley High School. She earned a degree in education from George Mason University and dedicated her career to teaching in Fairfax County until her retirement in 1993.
Franzine is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Harold R. Henderson; her three children, Kimberly Henderson Johnson (Mark), Jessica Henderson Boyd, and Harold R. Henderson III (Nancy); her four grandchildren, Ava and Sadie Johnson, Jason and Jeffrey Henderson; four siblings, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Celebration of Life service at noon on October 4, 2025 at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA. Visitation starting at 10:30 a.m.
