On Thursday, November 7, 2024, FRIEDA BROWN KASDEN of Ridgefield, CT. formerly of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold G. Kasden and Lewis J. Brown, loving mother of Louisa Brown ( the late David) Levenson and Shari Brown (and the late Jonathan) Ship, dear grandmother of Liza (Nate) Sulinski, Steven (Whitney May) Levenson, William (Erin Stanford) Levenson, Nina (Brian Greimel) Ship, Zachary Ship (fiancee Jessica Castello) and Maxwell Ship, cherished great grandmother of Leo and David Sulinski, Astrid and Zelda Levenson. Funeral service will be held on Monday November 11, 2024, 10 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St., N.W., Washington, DC with interment following at Washington Hebrew Congregation Cemetery, 1380 Alabama Ave, S.E.
Shiva to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the David Levenson Scholarship Fund at Brookline High School, Brookline, MA. or to The U.S. Blind Baseball Association, P.O. Box 312, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.
