GAYE GARDNER JACOB  
Gaye Gardner Jacob passed away peacefully Monday, May 30, 2016. Born in Washington, DC, to the late Henry Alfred and Addie T. Gardner of Chevy Chase, MD. Gaye was a graduate of Holton Arms School and Sweet Briar College, as well as a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She is predeceased by her husband, James Edward Pickett of Chevy Chase, MD and former husband, Edward Frauenheim Jacob of Pittsburgh, PA. She is survived by her son, Christopher Pickett and wife Diane; daughter, Amy Marks and husband Jan; two step-sons, Frederick Jacob and wife, Corrine and Edward Jacob Jr.; two sisters, Margot Tewes and Susan Gardner and their families. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Garrett, Aleena, Jacob, Lucas, Noah, Matthew and Adam; and a great-grandson, Jaxon. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, Chevy Chase, MD on October 7, at 12:30 p.m.

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in knowing that those who have passed on in death God keep in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincere condolences to you and your family. May the God of all comfort give you strength and peace during this difficult time.
