To the Bizzigotti Family,
I just heard of George's passing and wanted to express my sympathies. He and I were friends in high school. Though we didn't keep up afterwards I remember his wit and humor, things unlikely to have changed over the years. Regretfully, I learned too late that we live very near and would have liked to have hooked up with him sometime...
Once again, my deepest sympathies.

Mary and the Bizzigotti Family:
I cannot begin to express my sadness over the loss of George. I remember when he walked into our 4th Grade class for the first time, having just moved to Freehold from New York. We all knew he was brilliant - and he proved us right by reading the entire Encyclopeia that year in class.
In high school George continued to shine. He and I played the trombone, and like everything else he did, George set the bar. He was also a true friend.
He and I recently began to exchange emails. George was a great guy - one of a kind. He will sorely be missed. Again, you have my deepest sympathies.

Dear Mary, Susan and Mr. and Mrs. Bizzigotti:
I just learned today of George's passing. I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear this news. George was one of my dearest friend in High School and I regret that we did not stay in touch afterward.
I have many fond memories of him in Chemistry Class, Band, Math League and so many other activities.
To say that he will be missed is totally inadequate.
Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
Sincerely,
Dave Carpe

Dear Mr. and Mrs. B., I'm very sad to learn of George's passing. I did not keep up with him after high school, but I hold fond memories of our time together in the FTHS band and in scouting in the Battleground District of Monmouth Council, New Jersey. I feel a family connection as well as my mom, Rosemarie, work with you Mrs. B., at Elton Road School. My prayers are for your comfort and solace and for the happy repose of the soul of a dear friend.

Dear Mary -
Though I was a freshman when George was a senior at Rutgers, I remember him fondly. We were in the Marching Band together. I went to many parties at his apartment that year. I believe I even was sent to him for a formal signature when I was pledging MYA (the band service fraternity). My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family during this difficult time.

Dear Mary,
Those of us in Clemson with Forestry connections were deeply saddened to hear of George's death-he was so young! I always enjoyed seeing you both when I came by to walk Tye when you were in town to visit Billie. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Best regards,

Dear Mary, Ray, Edna and Susan,
I too knew George a member of the Rutgers University Marching Band. He was a terrific team player and an inspiration to others. Dr. Scott Whitener used to say "You are only as strong as your weakest link"--those of us who knew him recall that George was a VERY strong link. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My loving thoughts go out to all of you at this difficult time. You are all in my daily prayers. I will miss my cousin, George. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Mary,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. You and George have always stayed in mind as refined and gracious members of an otherwise rowdy and foolhardy set of DC United Fans. He will be missed.

Mary - My deepest sympathies on your loss. I played trombone in the Rutgers marching band. George was actually the first person I met. He came to my dorm the second day I was there to help get me signed up for marching band. One of my fondest memories of George was at a Rutgers Dance Marathon - we paid (for Charity) to have him hit in the face with a "pie". He appreciated the humor. I will miss him very much.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mary,
I knew George from the marching band at Rutgers, and though we lost touch over the years, I'll never forget his fun-loving nature or his impish grin! He was a great soul. I know he will be sadly missed by all of you who shared his daily life as well as those of us who "remember when." May God bless you and your family at this sad time - my heart goes out to all of you.

Mary, Ray, Edna and Susan,
I can't express the sadness in my heart. George was one of my favorite students, a great talent who made the most of his abilities. And the entire Bizzigotti family were such a large part of my early teaching career. Our prayers to George and all of you.
