Beloved husband of Mimi Gloninger Fleury; father of Mimi (Marty) Mayfield, George III (Maria) Fleury, Kate (John) Ryan, Anne Fleury, Jack (Andrea) Fleury, Peter (Mary) Fleury, Alice (Dan) Kerns and the late Bill Fleury; father-in-law of Cindi Gasparre; brother of Alice Zamanakos and Dr. Albert Fleury. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren. Friends may call on Thursday, January 23 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7001 Georgetown Pk., McLean, VA, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Aloysius Cemetery, Leonardtown, MD. I not only considered George a good friend in the 500th BS, but considered him one of the best flight surgeons I knew in my 25 year air force career. We are with you in heart & spirit Mimi. May god bless you and the family.
