GEORGE RIDGLEY LOUX "Ridge"  
George Ridgley "Ridge" Loux, prominent citizen of Reston, VA, died of pancreatic cancer on the morning of November 27, 2016 at the age of 68. Beloved father, husband, friend and all around incredible human being. He is survived by his wife Jane; children Brian, Emily, and Megan; and sister Barbara. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and civic duty throughout the community and lives he has touched. He graduated from Cornell University in 1971, received his law degree from Fordham in 1974 and began his career working for the Department of Justice, in Washington, DC. He later moved on to a long tenured career at AT&T. Ridge was active in the planning of Reston, and was awarded the Restonian of the Year Award in 1986. He served as president of the PTA at Langston Hughes Middle School and South Lakes High School, coached Reston youth soccer and baseball teams, and officiated for Reston and Virginia High School swim teams. Memorial Service to be held at St. John Neumann Church in Reston, VA at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9. Information and condolences www.adamsgreen.com
