GEORGE W. REYNOLDS
Passed away suddenly on July 22, 2018. Born in Washington, DC, he was the only child of George and Ruby Reid Reynolds, who predeceased him. George retired from Northrop Grummann after 45 years of service in 2012. He leaves to mourn his beloved life partner, Diane Williams; a host of cousins; family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 26 Grant Circle NW, Washington, DC. Visitation 10 a.m. Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support.umbc.edu; make checks payable to the UMBC Foundation, 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250; in memo line George W. George is still missed by those of us who had the privilege of knowing him. It has been seven years since he passed and the world has changed so much. I no longer have my friend to commiserate with about those happenings. RIP.

Often, when I need a question answered, or an intelligent second opinion, I think of George, my friend since elementary school. I recall our conversations on world events, and life, in general, and am amazed at how much information he had attained.
I know that his significant other and family continue to miss his presence. They are not alone. The world lost a wonderful man when he passed.

We at North Carolina A&T State University's College of Engineering were strengthened by our relationship with George, and we are grateful that we had a chance to know him and to work with him. He is missed.

He encouraged me to pursue my graduate degree that then helped me get a promotion to further my career.
