George Francis Scott
On Saturday January 30, 2016, George Francis Scott of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved husband of the late Leona Sherry Scott; loving father of Stephen Scott, Sherry Dockrell, Thomas Scott, Mary Jane Finn, Cynthia Gibbons and Susan Hill. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Dr., Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 11701 Clopper Rd., Gaithersburg, MD 20878 on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment: St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. George was both a great neighbor and a good friend. He was active, vigorous and entertaining. (His children made great babysitters.) With his wit and insight, he was not only a good conversationalist but also fun to be around. He is already missed. kfHKg
