GEORGE TILLMAN
On Thursday, July 20, 2017. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marguerite Francis Tillman; three sons, George A., Colbert A. and Lamont A. Tillman; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Friday, July 28 at Campbell AME Methodist Church, 2562 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, SE. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. Arrangements by POPE FUNERAL HOME.

George Tillman was one of the greatest musicians that I have known. He was a gifted song writer and a great man. He will truly be missed by all who were privileged to know this man who was a gift from God, to the world.

To my forever next door neighbors,
Though many years have past, the Tillman smile is ever imprinted in my heart. Mrs. Tillman, Tony, Al and Monty I'm truly sorry for the loss of Mr. Tillman. His delightful nature lives on in all whose lives he richly touched. I'm indeed blessed and grateful to have known him.
