Georgia Rangel Obituary
Multilingual in Spanish and Punjabi, Georgia was well-traveled, curious, and exceptionally smart. She earned her bachelor's degree from George Mason University and remained a lifelong learner, always engaged with books, projects, music, and art.
A skilled seamstress and master gardener, she filled her home and neighborhood with beauty and grace. She cherished her visits to India and Mexico, but most of all, her role as a devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Jasmin DeCourcey; and grandchildren Amber, Ava, and Ryan.
Funeral and burial will be private. A celebration of life gathering will be held on September 13 at 4 p.m. at the home of her friend Gurmeet in Germantown, Maryland. Contact Jasmin for details,
