GLADYS MARIE NICHOLSON  
Gladys Marie Nicholson (Bowie, Maryland) departed this earth to be with the Lord on April 16, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on June 25, 1942 in Washington, DC to Anne Payne and Jerry Biddle (stepfather). Being born an only child, Gladys was raised, loved and spoiled by her parents and her late Grandmother Bernice Payne.Gladys attended DC Public Schools and graduated from Spingarn. She was married to the late Marshall Nicholson for over 50 years. She worked in civil service for the Federal Government and retired from DHHS.She is survived by her children, Karen(Eric); Angel (Vincent); and Marshall (Cheryl); as well as grandsons, Donte, Katreena, Brandon, Anthony, ShonTel, Marshall, IV, Marshall, Malik and Aaron, sister-in-laws, Sallie Walker, Annie Nicholson, Anna Zimmerman and Lannie Nicholson, brother in law, John Nicholson, cousins, Willie Mae Spruill and Marie Winston and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 9:30 - noon at JB Jenkins Funeral Home at 7474 Landover Road, Landover, Maryland. The repast will be held at the Holiday Inn Express located 1917 Bladensburg Road, NE, Washington, DC 20002
