A true gentleman and gentle person, Greg's loss came as a shock. He always found time to respond, no matter how busy. I was sad to hear the news and hold a special place for him in my heart.

I would like to say he was one in a million. I will never forget all you taught me growing up. From a card game to pitfall in Atari, how to tie my shoes or anything else while we grew up. I love you so much and miss you more then you'll know. You are my big brother and I thank you for everything....love your sister, chubbs!!! That's between you and I....lol..you even taught me how to pop a wheely and bunny hop on my bike. Some knew you as a professional kinda guy, I knew you as just my big brother..m

It is hard to believe its been 4 years since we lost such a great man! Greg was sort of my unofficial mentor, one of the few C suite level folks who I could talk to and who actually listened and gave such excellent advice I still miss him a lot...

Greg Ambrose was a great leader, I worked for him at US-Visit and followed him to Department of State. He helped me grow as a civil servant and an engineer. I will always remember the last lunch we had in April and the time he took a group of US to Oracle World in San Francisco, CA. I will miss him a lot. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathy to the Ambrose family. I had known Greg for more than 10 years. We worked together in the 2004 timeframe and maintained a friendship over the years. We would meet for the occasional cigar and beer night in the DC area. The last time at his house last summer.

He also arranged for my family and I to view the St. Patrick's day parade from the reviewing stands a few years ago.

I will truly miss Greg.
