HARRY DONOHUE Obituary


 
HARRY JOSEPH DONOHUE  
Passed away, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital with his devoted wife, Patricia (Pat) by his side. Mr. Donohue was born April of 1920. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a Congressional Liaison Appointee under four different presidencies, including Eisenhower. He served in World War II in the Army Signal Corp Intelligence Agency. He attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant, and was a graduate of Clark University. He was an avid reader; liked politics and writing. He had two children by a previous marriage, Charles and Christine, both of whom predeceased him. He also had a brother John who predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 42-1/2 years, Patricia. In addition, he is survived by his two grandsons. Kennith, who resides in McLean and Matthew of Oakton. He has six great- grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.  Friends and family will gather Sunday, January 31 at 11 a.m. at Money and King Funeral Home in Vienna, VA. The service will be a celebration of Mr. Donohue''s ninety five years of life. Those wishing to contribute may make donations to INOVA Fairfax Hospital in lieu of flowers.
