Hasker Samuel Obituary
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Hasker B. Samuel Jr. departed this life at the Riderwood Senior Living Facility in Silver Spring, MD. Born June 4, 1934, in Winston-Salem, NC, he is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Sylvia Pinkney Samuel; his devoted sons Hasker B. Samuel III and Victor H. Samuel; daughters-in-law Pamela S. Samuel and Janice L. Samuel; grandchildren Carmen M. Samuel and John M. Samuel; sisters-in-law Josephine Samuel and Grace Samuel and a host of nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Hasker's life, during service at Northeastern Presbyterian Church, 2112 Varnum St., NE, Washington, DC 20018 on Monday, September 30. Visitation with the Family will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, memorial service at 10:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Military honors and interment will follow the service at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD 20722. Memorial Contributions may be made in his honor to the American Red Cross, 2020 East-West Hwy, Silver Spring, MD 20910, https://www.redcross.org.
