Heidi was truly one of the kindest people I have known. I worked with her at S & H for many years and after that time I would run into her in the most unexpected places - and sadly hadn't seen her in a couple of years when I heard of her passing. Heidi, you will be missed!

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Heidi had passed away. Heidi, you were a wonderful friend to me back at O'Connell and you always had a smile on your face or a joke to share. Your personality was uplifting and contagious. You will be dearly missed. May our Lord take you in His arms and may you feel His peace and love that transcends all understanding. I take comfort in knowing that we will meet again one day.

I fell in love with Heidi's smile, charm, and wit when I met her and only knew her for a brief period. I am happy that I had the pleasure of meeting her and being touched by her beautiful, outward spirit. My prayers and condolences go out to her family, friends, and those that were close to her. Rest in peace Heidi.

I was shocked and heartbroken to learn today of Heidi's passing. I'll always remember her joking around; that disarming laugh and earnest smile. Everyone was drawn to her, even if she herself was too sweet to admit it. It was obvious she was a special person. I'm glad I got to tell her when I had the chance. I only wish I could have more chances.
Heidi, you are missed. :-( Sweet dreams. May you rest in peace.

I have had Heidi's brother, Tony, on my mind constantly for the past couple of weeks and decided to look up the rest of the family. I am very saddened to learn of Heidi's passing. As devastating as it is to lose one child at a young age, losing two has to be unbearable. My heart goes out to Dr. & Mrs. Kunec and Hans & Terry. I just know she and Tony are smiling down from heaven.

May God bless Heidi's family and give you strength.

Wow, I'm shocked and saddened to learn of Heidi's passing. I worked at Tysons S/H for 10 years and rarely did I see Heidi when she wasn't smiling and sparkling with enthusiasm and energy. You touched many, dear Heidi.

Heide,

You trained me long ago after I had my fourth child and wanted to get back in shape. Even though I was pretty inept at lifting weights, you encouraged me enthusiastically and always had a smile on your face. I was so sad to see the notice in the paper yesterday, we left the gym at Greensboro Drive around five years ago and I hadn't seen you in at least that long. It is tragic that someone so loving, so bright and full of life was been taken way too soon. I believe you are in a better place now, one without pain and sickness where you can rest in peace but you will live in many hearts forever.

Heidi was truly angelic. She had an electric smile, vibrant personality and an always caring heart. She was always there to help others before herself. She left us too soon, but during her years here, she touched the lives of many. May the Lord provide strength and guidance to the Kunec family during these times. God bless you Heidi and your family.
