On Saturday, December 2, 2006, BERT WENDORF, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Rita A. Wendorf; loving father of Karen W. Kinter and Michael A. Wendorf; cherished grandfather of Kevin, Paul, Jack and Reese. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, MD, Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, December 6 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Montgomery County Unit, 11331 Amherst Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20902.

Karen,
I hope you hold tight to the sweet memories of the one you love so much and know that he lives on not only in Heaven but also in you and your precious boys. You have always shown me and those around you how wonderfully kind, considerate and caring your father must have been to raised such a wonderful human being. You and your children are his legacy and embassador that will continue to shine here in this dark and cold world. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
