HOWARD A. ABRAHAMS
Howard Abrahams, who loved to read the Post's obituaries, is regretfully front and center in them today. Howard, 77, of Rockville, MD, passed away after an extended illness on December 27, 2013. He was a long-time labor relations attorney for the FAA, DC and Baltimore governments and the NLRB, and a former U.S. Senate counsel. Howard worshipped and was adored by Helen, his wife of 48 years, and by his children Michael and Jenny of New York City, their spouses Rachael and Daniel, sister-in-law Leona, and grandchildren Max, Sara and Jack. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 29 at Temple Shalom in Silver Spring, MD.

So to hear about Howard. I worked with him at the FAA in Labor Relations. Howard was a very bright attorney and always spoke lovingly about his wife and children. My sympathy for his family.

Helen so sorry for you loss. It was such pleasure getting a chance to be part of Jenny's special day. I always remember Howard taking me over to side and thanking me with a tear in his eye for helping you create such a special day for his family. Peace be with you and the whole family...
