My Deepest Sympathies goes out to the Carter Family. Howard did our taxes for many years while we lived in D.C. He was a true gentleman, with charisma, elegance, sense of humor, and great work ethic. My prayers are with the Family, and I know he is now in the hands of the Lord, and at peace. God Bless You Always. McMann Family

Dearest Barbara and Family: As mentioned to you at the memorial service, words fail me in my attempt to share my feelings for you and your family at this time. Your loss is also ours, and I hope that we may share some moments together soon.

The Family of Howard Carter,
The loss of a loved one is never, never easy, even when anticipated. The recent loss of Howard, your husband and life partner, father, grand-father, son and brother, is certainly in the category of the hard, hard loss for which there is so painful a reminder of what was and could continue to be. I offer my sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of family and friends and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult, difficult period. I ask for God's blessings on the entire family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence, knowing that Howard’s life was well-lived.
Yours In Peace and Love,
