Howard Eliot Silvers

HOWARD SILVERS (Age 93) Of Potomac, MD passed away on December 8, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Ginger Silvers for 56 years; devoted and loving father of Laurie Silvers, Linda Silvers and Scott (and his wife, Avery) Silvers; doting and cherished grandfather of Austin and Levi, and devoted brother of Suzanne Coven. Howard Silvers was a strong, athletic, kind-hearted, dog-loving, and devoted family man who enjoyed playing and watching sports, dancing the jitterbug with his wife, Ginger, and telling a great story. He owned Garamond Pridemark Press, a printing company in Baltimore, for many years and was admired and respected by his clients. He was an outstanding basketball player (gold medal recipient in the Senior Olympics), and he lettered in Lacrosse for the University of North Carolina. He devoted many hours to helping people while volunteering at the front desk of the local hospital, and he was a Board Member Emeritus for the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington. His children always felt fortunate to hear his perspective and receive his loving support, and to hear him speak of their mother as, "Beautiful inside and out." The gleam he had in his eyes will be fondly remembered by all. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, 1 p.m. at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD.
