We met through our mutual friend, Sister Paula, and I am happy to have had you enter my life even for such a short time. Sparkling eyes and we both got to share Sister Paula. Please know that you are in our prayers and those of my clerical friends. Rest in peace, Jack Whalen

Dear Irene,
You started my interest in energy healing work with a brief workshop in 1989. Ten years later I began my HT journey with you as a mentor for me. I'll never forget your instructions to me for women in labor and the beauty the work brings to a beautiful moment. I thank you for your gentleness, guidance and love.I now follow in your footsteps, and know the spiritual realm is brighter because you are now at peace there. You will be missed on earth.

-Dear Irene,
Thank you for being such a dear friend and role model to me. It was you who mentored me from 1984 onward as a Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. You were there to cheerlead me through my doctoral studies at Catholic University of America where you were on faculty. You were there as a midwife for the births of my three daughters, with Philana's and Catherine Rose's being home births. You were the only one i wanted at my side! We found Healing Touch at the same time and continued our journey as instructors with Janet Mentgen and HT Program. You cheered me on in my leadership role with HT and always had kind and encouraging words for me. You deeply influenced my vocational life in Healing Touch and holistic nursing.Philana still treasures the Pooh bear you gifted her at her birth 22 years later. I am so blessed for being able to call you friend, mentor, teacher and spiritual director in my life. I love you!! Cynthia Hutchison, Boulder, CO.

You are now in God's arms, and boy, do I wish I was a fly on the wall listening to your questions with Him! Your faith was strong, and your heart full. You ALWAYS cared about others first!!! You can be reassured that you blessed many, and especially me. Have a good fishing trip with Jesus! thanks for being a major part of my life! Heaven is a lucky place to have you ........ and we were so lucky to have you here too ..... I enjoyed so many wonder-filled times with you in our Healing Touch journey as we traveled together often and went side by side in trainings and teachings. I marveled at the way you taught through story and seasoned experience and with the greatest wit - my heart was always full after spending time with you. Thank you for reminded all that "Its in Every One Of Us" ~ I will always remember you with love and a smile. Forever and a day, Marilee
