Jack Burrell Obituary
BURRELL JACK O. BURRELL Of Bluffton, SC was born on August 28, 1926. Jack went to be with God on November 6, 2007. Cremation and to “come home” to Sandy (wife and best friend of 28 years) and his beloved cat “Bucko”; these were Jack‘s wishes. Interment will be at a future date. Remembering Jack on Father‘s Day would make him happy. He loved all children; and his own, not only did he love, but was so proud of. Sons, Brian Burrell, resides on Hilton Head Island, SC; Michael (Linda) and granddaughter, Lauren Burrell of Lexington, KY; Stephen Patrick (Molly) and grandson, Michael Burrell of Ontario, Canada. Daughter, Sally Scott and grandson, Chris of Colorado Springs, CO. Jack‘s stepsons, Robert (Tiffany) Keaton and their sons, Brendan and Mitchell of Charlottesville, VA; Michael (Holly) Keaton of Catlett, VA and Michael‘s son, Justin, also residing in Virginia. Also, very much a part of Jack‘s life were his sister, Sarah (Frank) Young of Newnan, GA and brother in law, Butch (Linda) Bishop; their daughter, Heather (Sgt. Matt) Schilling, all of Charlottesville, VA; Teresa (Terri) and Kim Bishop of Alexandria, VA and Melinda (Mindi) Bishop of California; brother in law, Nathan (Debbie) Rosen of Potomac, MD. Jack also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his mother, Clara Baker of Newnan, GA; brother, Bobby (Rose) Burrell of Flint, Michigan and his sister, Betty Brooks of Newnan, GA. Serving two years WWII Army 508th as a Paratrooper, Jack was stationed in Wahamatsu, Japan and Frankfurt, Germany. Jack spent 40 years working in sales for Ford Motor Co. in Maryland and Virginia and 17 years of which he performed his job from a motorized scooter after becoming paraplegic. After moving to South Carolina in 2002, all who knew him would tell you how much he loved The Crescent neighborhood, where he and his wife, Sandy resides...the clubhouse, swimming pool, and most of all the people.
