JAMES D. BLAND "Jimmy" (Age 81)
Beloved husband of Beverly Bland; father of Alia Epps (William) and Kia Howard; grandfather of Bryce and Cody Howard, Aubrey and Darby Epps entered into eternal life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Born October 6, 1940, in Washington, DC, son of the late Edward, Sr. and Marie Bland. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews; special cousins, Clarence Bell, Jr., Ellen Thomas and Julia Alice Kitchen. Service will be held on Friday, March 11, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 6634 St. Barnabas Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Viewing 10 a.m., Service 11 a.m. Masks required and attendance for service is limited due to Covid-19. Interment at a later date. The family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or 1-800-272-3900.

Condolences to the Bland family. Mrs. Bland, praying for your peace and comfort during this time.
To james "Beady" Bland, the best supervisor a 17 year old high school student could ever have in the Federal government. I owe my success to you Mr. Bland and I could hear your proudness everytime i called and told you i got promoted October 6th will never be the same for me. Rest in heavenly peace. Love you more than you will ever know
