Dearest Mary Jo, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family now as always. I will keep Jim in mind as the memories and names of others we lost to cancer especially pancreatic (your brother and my cousins) as they climb Kilamanjaro and plant flags in their memory in January. They will rise up to meet him and the others as a candle stays lit for him.

Dearest Mary Jo,
You, Jad & Maurian have been in my constant thoughts, since I learned of Jim's passing on Wednesday!!! Jim's presence was felt and impacted immediately, by myself and I am sure all who came in contact with him! I got the most special email from Jim, in October about my Dad. I will treasure it and all of our conversations!

Yesterday, the day of the funeral I went to the cathedral of Coutances to light a candle for Jim, you, Jad & Maurian. When I was driving to the cathedral an amazing rainbow was in front of me. It was so special! I thought of you and Jim. I am sending you all loving and comforting thoughts.

The Dowd & Ralston Families are moved by Jim's passing, and offer our sincerest condolence.

Dear MJ, Jad and Michelle, and Mauri and Brad, Mike and I send you our deepest sympathy and love. Jimmy was a great guy. His kindness and generosity towards everyone is something we'll never forget. We'll remember him at the farm- tooling around in the ATV, setting up pumpkins on stakes at the shooting range, taking us for boat rides, and grilling steaks on the grill. All the while making sure everyone was having a great time. He taught us the true meaning of "life is good". He taught us how to fight a terrible disease. He taught us how to die. God bless you as you grieve his passing and God bless Jimmy Donohoe.

November 6, 2013

What a good man.
My wife Sandy and I were with him and Mary Jo only a few weeks ago on a SJC reunion boat ride with fellow '63 classmates.
Even though he was very sick, he was as friendly and entertaining as always.
His courage was truly inspiring.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

"Life Is Good", was Jimmy's favorite saying. My life is good and has been blessed for having Jim in it.
He and my brother were the best of friends from grade school and beyond. He was always my "other brother"!
God Bless you Jim for all the good you brought into our world and into the world of others. You were loved by many and you will missed by all.
God Bless the Donohoe Family and may they rest knowing that Jim's journey has just begun and that he and "Big Bill" are sitting back in their rocking chairs having a cold one.
Love you and miss.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
