Survived by sons, Larry, Sr. (Teresa) and Jerry Fowlkes; three grandsons, Christopher, Larry, Jr. (Shakira) and Simeon; three great-granddaughters; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca S. Fowlkes. Visitation Wednesday, September 28 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at J.B. Jenkins Funeral Home, 7474 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. Funeral services Friday, September 30 at Church of God, 4310 Edmondson Ave., Baltimore, MD. Visitation 10 a.m. Service 11 a.m.

Hey Mr. Fowlkes!!! Didn't get to say goodbye but will miss our conversations and laughs. I take each golden nugget you shared and will never forget your "straight no chaser" opinions. You were hilarious! Always said it like you meant it. Rest in Peace my lifelong neighbor.
