On Sunday, September 3, 2017. Longtime companion of Norma Goram; father of Jerry W. (Jolene) Goad Sr., James R. Goad, Anita A. (William) Drish, David M. (Janice) Goad, Sr., Maxine (David) Dowd and Loretta L. (Keith) Brenner; brother of Oscar Earl Goad, Elsie Jean (Chester) Hardisty, the late Annabelle O'Brien and Wilma Dolores Duck. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Wyatt Wakeman Goad and Glenna M. (nee Barnes) Goad. Relatives and friends may call at the BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME 4400 Powder Mill Rd., Beltsville, MD on Saturday, September 9 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon.
