Dear Eleanor, we just heard about Jim’s passing. Tricia and I are so sorry to learn of this. He was one of a kind and a very special person. We loved the many volleyball games and gatherings in McLean. We loved the wonderful discussions of politics and sports and his passion for each. We treasure all of our memories of Jim and you.
Much love,
Teddy and Tricia.

Dear Eleanor,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Halsey and will continue to pray for you and your family.
Mr. Halsey was a very special person to me and it was a joy working with him. He was a very good boss, friend and I shall always remember him. He was so special to me and I also had the privilege of meeting you and sharing special meals and conversations with the both of you. I pray for you and your family during this sad hour. I am just learning of his passing today and my heart is very heavy.

Ellie and family, your fellow retirees in ARTA send you our deepest sympathy and will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Most of us knew Jim only from his accompanying you to our luncheons, but we can still appreciate how great his loss is to all of you in his family.

His kindness as my first boss when I arrived in this country in 1967 will never be forgotten. His friendship over the years was so much appreciated and enjoyed. Deepest condolences to Eleanor and family. He will be missed very much by Al and me.
