Quietly on Thursday, August 5, 2021, James went to be with our Lord. His father, Joseph F. Young, Jr., stepfather, Madison Arnold, and brother, Joseph A. Young preceded James in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Joan; his mother, Katie Arnold; brothers Edward Young and Jarl Young (Diedre); sister Avis Bembry; three sons, Anthony, Kelvin and George Young; daughter, Kristine Louis (Dimitri); stepmother, Mabel Young; seven grandsons and a host of relatives and friends. Friends may call on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment Lincoln Cemetery.
