WILLIAMS JAMILA MORENIKE WILLIAMS Of Washington, DC, entered into Eternal Rest on July 11, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Belinda E. McIlwain; her father, Haywood Simpson; stepfather, Michael McIlwain; brothers, Muhammed Tyndell (Shannon), Dalvin Williams, Michael F. McIlwain, Maurice McIlwain (Toshanda); stepbrother, Kevin A. Griffin; grandmother, Ruth Nixon; grandfather, Willie Harvey; nieces, Kyeira, Briyana, Carissa, Jada, Briell, Harmonie and godchild, Otis Williams. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing on Wednesday, July 15, 1 p.m. until time of memorial service, 2 p.m. at BACON FUNERAL HOME, 3447 14th St., NW.

Mr & Mrs. McIlwain,
I can not express to you how honored I feel to have known Jamila. Jam was very special to me on so many levels, she will be so greatly missed by me. I know that God has her in his capable arms. I will forever cherish the memories of our friendship. I hope that in this difficult time, you can take comfort in knowing that she was loved by so many people and she is smiling down from heaven.
