JANET LEISSNER
At her home, on Sunday, November 6, 2022, JANET LEISSNER of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved sister of Ellen Leissner Carroll. Loving aunt of Erica and Noah Jacobson and great aunt to Max and Brynn Jacobson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 1 p.m. at Judean Memorial Garden Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832 with interment following. Shiva will be held at the home of Ellen Leissner Carroll on Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Humane Society or the Lupus Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.

I So Sorry for your Lost,I met Janet because I was her Mom nurses aide and Her and Her sister Ellen always treated me like family she is one of the smartest people I ever known and the family help me slot when I was pregnant and working for there Mom that was 22yrs. Ago and I'm just finding out she passed because I often think of her Mom and that's what made me look her up, But again I sorry and I hope all is well with the family.

I just found out about Janet passing, I was thinking of Her Mom and it made me think of Janet I was a nurse aide for her Mom and Janet and Ellen are too of the most kindest people I have worked for and I loved their Mom very much and also Janet Dog Charlie she was So Smart I wanted to ask her to be my Child Godmother but I was scared to ask that child is now 22yrs. Old now and I hadn't seen Janet sense her Mom passed so you know if there still in my thoughts all these years tell you how Special and Dear to me that family was I'm sure she will be missed

My ability to provide for my family was greatly helped by Janet's kindness.
