Jared Bush Obituary
JARED PHILLIP BUSH
Age 19, of Alexandria, VA, on December 13, 2006. He is survived by his loving parents, Phillip and Carolyn Bush; loving brother, Justin Bush; grandparents, Tommy and Serrena Vaden and Clyde Bush. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Robin and Teresa Bush, Bryan and Patsy Vaden and his cousins, Amy Armstrong, Adrienne Beall, Paul, John and Joshua Vaden. Friends will be received on Monday, December 18, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at EVERLY-WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22306. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 11 a.m. at Groveton Baptist Church, 6511 Richmond Hwy., Alexandria, VA 22306. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Sportfishing Youth Education, 225 Reinekers, Suite 420, Alexandria, VA 22314 or to Groveton Baptist Youth Ministry at the above address.

I was deeply saddened to learn yesterday of Jared's passing.Words fail at a time like this but please accept my most sincere sympathy. I will always remember him as that little five or six year old that loved his books and night time stories. The last time I baby sat for him, he made me a bookmark.I still have it and will always cherish it. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and may God give you the strength you need during this difficult time.

I was so sorry to miss Jared's service -- I was traveling with my Mother on a Senior Center trip. Paul was deeply touched to be there and to be a part of a wonderful tribute to a very special young man. Please know that we are keeping all of you in our prayers. We can't imagine your pain -- we just know that we love you dearly and hold each of you in our hearts. We are so honored to have known Jared, and so blessed to have his help in VBS and the Preschool Sunday School. We will always remember his sweet spirit, his love of God's creation, and his gentle and loving ministry to children. We have no words to offer (what could any of us say?), only our love and prayers for God's supernatural comfort. And we are praying fervently for His protection, provision, and empowerment during this difficult time. May His divine love surround you completely.

It was good to have him in our Sunday School class. His death will not be in vain or his life a waste, because God will bring about great things through this sad event. I taught Jared in Sunday School, 4th grade and liked him. He was a good kid. The last time I talked to him he was looking forward to getting a Mustang and was telling me what all he was going to do to it to fix it up. Going to miss him a lot. I saw him almost every Sunday.
