Jean Davis Pate
Passed suddenly July 6, 2016 after a brief illness. Born January 15, 1926 in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Christopher Pate, Jr. of Missouri. She is survived by their children, Sharon Mavanway Pate, Gerald "Jerry" Christopher Pate and Yvonne "Dixie" Elizabeth Cansler; grandchildren, Bonnie (Nick) Rocha, Sherry Cansler, David Cansler Jr., Melanie (Brian) Moubray and Sarah Pate; great-grandchildren, Colin Rocha and Bo Moubray.Services will be held Saturday, July 23, 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 5614 Old Mill Road, Alexandria, Virginia 22309. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army.
