I will truly miss you my friend. You were the best friend a person could ever have. I find myself thinking of you constantly , feeling sad, then I start laughing, remembering something that you said or did. I'm still in shock over this , Its a very very sad sad day for this world to loose a truly wonderful person like you. My deepest thoughts and sympathy are with Angie, Chris and Deanna. I feel so truly fortunate to have known you, and am very very proud to have called you my friend. By the way that you so dearly touched people, your spirit and your soul have lived far more than the 46 short years you physically spent here. I miss you dearly my friend, until we meet again, Ray

Jeff will be dearly missed by all of us. With Jeffs generousity, knowledge and laughs at work there truely will never be someone who can replace him. But most of all, he showed us all about dedication to our families.

I had known Jeff for about ten years now. Jeff was the kind of person that brightened up the room everytime he walked in. Jeff would take time out of his schedule to make time for you and still maintain his Jovial personality. Never have I met a kinder person than Jeffrey (H'effe) Laperle. Tracy and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Although I did not know Jeff for very long (just started working for SAIC last July), I interacted with him daily on things work-related and otherwise. I was most impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and outgoing personality. I owe him much thanks for helping me (the "new guy") navigate various procedures and processes. I also owe him much thanks for turning me on to the world of HDTV and "cube" PCs. Jeff's death was a huge shock to all of us here at work. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Mrs. LaPerle and children,
Please accept our sincere condolences upon your tragic loss. I spoke briefly with Jeff when the hurricane left one of your trees toppled over and he expressed true neighborly concern and care about having it removed from my parents fence as soon as he could. His kindness that day was greatly appreciated by my parents. Please extend our sympathy to Chris, whom we do see often and plays ball with my son, Samuel. Please know the entire Shifflett family is remembering you in our daily prayers. God bless, JoJo and Sam
