On Saturday March 3, 2007 of Purcellville, Va. Husband of the late Maude Jackson Dorton; father of Jimmy F. Dorton, Jr., Terry L. Dorton, David W. Dorton and Rebecca R. Dorton; brother of Gaye Fleming, Ruth Johnson, Susan Branson, Deborah Summey, William Masby Dorton, Jr. and Lars C. Dorton. He was preceded in death by his brother Max Dorton and sister Gloria Haggett. Also survived by his grandson Jamey Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday March 8 from 6 to 8 pm at the Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, Va. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday March 10 at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Va. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department or The Purcellville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
